Consultancy

We provide consultancy to clients who want to create or strengthen strategies and practice which develops entrepreneurial learning, pedagogy and culture.

This includes on-site visits, interviews and reviews. We audit key areas, develop action plans to drive innovation and provide guidance to progress clients from ‘as is’ to ‘as could be’ practice.

For schools we have evolved a Ready Strategy which describes the sort of support we provide. We work with school leadership to co-design programmes that integrate coaching, consultancy and professional learning to support staff development over time.

We provide bespoke consultancy to a range of other clients who are interested in developing and improving the quality and impact of entrepreneurial learning, pedagogy and culture.

We work with...

Schools, colleges and universities.

Regional and national governments, at home and abroad.

Organisations including the OECD and national charities.

Examples of our work include…

  • Providing consultancy to support Head Teachers develop entrepreneurial learning in schools.
  • Providing consultancy to the Alicante Regional Government, and presenting to educators at a regional conference.
  • Providing consultancy to the OECD and the EU for the Entrepreneurship 360 project, including facilitating the primary phase cohort of educators at a four day international conference.
  • Providing training and resources for the EU’s The Entrepreneurial School project.
  • Working on the English Government review of Enterprise Education in England, and hosting study visits for politicians, government advisors and educators to learn about how schools have been supported to develop entrepreneurial learning and culture in education.
  • Being commissioned as an Enterprise Advisor on a LEP pilot scheme to improve enterprise provision in schools.
  • Being part of the University of Wales Trinity St David’s team which has worked with the Macedonian national government to create an entrepreneurship curriculum, creating a guidebook for teachers and education organisers on The Entrepreneurial School.

“At a strategic level, working with Catherine continuously revitalizes our approach. This year we have been developing Industry Related Enterprise Learning through the curriculum, something that will we continue to improve and embed. Our direction of travel is exciting for teachers and our school community, but most importantly, it inspires children about learning and helps them achieve.”

Lynne Pepper, Head Teacher, Herringthorpe Infants School, South Yorkshire.

“Our results have been excellent, but we’ve done it by developing children. The most satisfying aspect when we were inspected was that we didn’t change a thing. We wanted the inspector to see what we were doing, exactly as it was.”

Denise Popplewell, Head Teacher, Lincolnshire.
